Happy Bastille Day! & you can now sleep in Versailles

Happy belated Bastille Day (meant to publish this yesterday) check out these French style icons since 1798.
In every European history class I’ve ever taken, I anxiously await the chapter where we study the French Revolution so my mind can wonder to the Palace of Versailles as my hand takes notes on the guillotine and Voltaire. I imagine I’m Marie Antoinette (or at least Kirsten Dunst in Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette).
There is something about the lavish, ornate French style that seems so magical to me. I would love to visit Versilles and walk through the Hall of Mirrors, which is apparently packed with lots of tourists who share my vision. But now I can do one better and sleep like a King, since one of the buildings of the palace has been made into a luxury hotel!
